Critical systems · Performance · Accountability
I work with software in contexts where negligence is costly, performance matters, and decisions have real impact.
The page is calm. The journey here wasn't always.
I'm a software developer with over 6 years of experience, working primarily in frontend, but with real mobility between backend and mobile when the problem demands it.
I've worked on small, medium, and large-scale platform projects, always in contexts where stability, performance, and predictability were not optional.
My specialty is frontend, where I make architecture decisions, performance, accessibility, and user experience. Backend and mobile come in as a natural extension of the product, not as technology stacking.
Experience, to me, is not market time.
It's responsibility taken when everything can go wrong.
Below are some snapshots of the type of scenario that shaped me most. If you want, expand the full experiences and navigate through a timeline that looks calm today but was built through very turbulent phases.
Extreme traffic, aggressive campaigns, and zero tolerance for instability. Working on deliveries that needed to handle peaks without degrading performance and experience.
Undocumented codebase and emerging technology at a critical moment. Exploring runtime, documenting what didn't exist, and enabling a new frontend in Next.js and FastStore.
Electoral coverage with real-time updates and high exposure. Consolidation and refactoring to maintain stability and predictability when volume and risk increased.
Transformation of a physical game into a continuously used digital platform. Full stack from discovery to production, with rules, permissions, and metrics.
Critical corporate system from Vivo/Telefónica used daily by thousands of technicians for installation management, support, and field network maintenance. Environment with extensive PHP legacy (Symfony) and frontend in migration process to Vue 3 using Composition API.
I was hired to understand critical business flows, migrate sensitive features from legacy to Vue 3, and stabilize modules with high operational risk. I also worked on refactoring code with concurrency issues, fixing complex bugs, and organizing state in critical components.
I worked in a multicultural team distributed across Brazil, Spain, Peru, and Bolivia, dealing daily with communication barriers and technically documenting parts of the system that weren't clear to the rest of the team.
The system was stabilized in the highest-risk areas and technical documentation accelerated onboarding of new developers in a high-accountability corporate environment.
B2B e-commerce on VTEX IO facing serious Google visibility issues and direct sales loss due to lack of indexing. The central challenge was extreme: the site was in production but there was no access to the original source code, requiring complete reverse engineering for total application reconstruction.
I rebuilt the e-commerce from scratch, creating a new store theme in VTEX IO, proprietary design system, and deep UX improvements. I implemented advanced technical SEO focused on indexability, structured data (Schema.org/JSON-LD), Core Web Vitals optimization, and accessibility following WCAG (contrast, keyboard navigation, ARIA, HTML semantics).
The delivery completely recovered the site's organic presence, achieving 100% Google indexing and significant qualified traffic improvement. The project also integrated WhatsApp as a strategic conversion channel, returning predictability to the business with accessibility treated as a requirement from the start.
Complete reconstruction of Americanas e-commerce with VTEX FastStore v2 (based on Next.js), one of the largest digital recovery projects in Brazilian retail. High-risk context, tight deadline, and practically non-existent documentation about the chosen technology.
I was strategically hired for my experience with VTEX IO and Next.js, working from the initial phase of the project. I explored FastStore v2 runtime behavior, documented internal technical decisions, implemented custom features in a highly complex environment, and architecturally supported the team in an emerging and little-explored technology.
I actively participated in code reviews, TDD application, and architectural decisions that directly influenced the frontend structure. I helped unblock complex deliveries and accelerated team onboarding through clear technical documentation about the platform's internal functioning.
Refactoring and consolidation of the 2024 Elections coverage system in WordPress VIP (enterprise version with greater technical support) in a high-traffic environment. Highly fragmented legacy ecosystem, with multiple poorly structured electoral plugins, critical performance bottlenecks, and high coupling between components.
I was responsible for consolidating these plugins into a single componentized architecture, massively reducing duplicated code, optimizing payloads with lazy loading and code splitting, and aligning the system with CNN's new best practices. I also developed and optimized the electoral calendar system, components for live broadcasts and breaking news, with direct focus on performance and user experience.
The system was delivered within an extremely tight deadline and sustained live broadcasts, breaking news, and real-time updates without downtime during the initial period of electoral coverage. Work under high pressure, with incremental deliveries and zero production failures during one of the most sensitive periods in national journalism.
Work on large-scale e-commerce platforms on VTEX platform (IO and Legacy CMS), serving national and international brands with high traffic volume and extreme stability requirements. I was recruited for my React expertise, the foundation of VTEX IO, and quickly became an internal technical reference in complex projects and critical moments.
I worked on projects like Pandora Joias, Lacta, Ambev, Farmácia Indiana, and Shop Fácil (Bradesco), participating in three consecutive Black Fridays (2021, 2022, 2023) without downtime, high-impact seasonal campaigns like Lacta Easter 2023, and complex integrations between multiple systems. I developed custom apps, components beyond VTEX standard, advanced overrides, and Node.js middlewares for integrations between backends and external APIs.
I became a React reference within the company, mentoring developers, technically leading critical projects, and acting as a bridge between teams, agencies, and stakeholders. Strong participation in code reviews, pair programming, advanced performance optimization (PDP, cart, checkout), and technical debt control in high-scale applications.
Project contracted through public bidding to digitize a gamified academic methodology for business validation used in a master's innovation course. The challenge was to transform a physical board game, highly conceptual and pedagogical, into a complete, scalable digital platform usable by professors, teaching assistants, and students in real-time.
I was responsible for the entire product cycle: conducting deep discovery with academic stakeholders, defining serverless architecture (React + Node.js + Firebase), frontend and backend development, data modeling, and security rules in Firestore. I implemented a cycle-based progression system, multi-level permissions (professor, assistant, monitor, student), administrative dashboards with progress metrics, content unlocking logic, and progress bars with visual alerts for delayed projects.
Weekly progress presentations and continuous iteration based on real user feedback. The system has been in production for over 3 years, being used by multiple classes and hundreds of students for project and company validation, proving its stability, scalability, and pedagogical value.
Work on large-scale strategic projects, initially as a frontend developer allocated to enterprise clients and, over time, expanding to fullstack, mobile, and product decisions. I worked on Riachuelo's affiliate platform (Next.js, SSR, SEO, micro-frontends) and iFood's insurance platform MVP for delivery driver claims, my first complete fullstack project integrating interfaces, APIs, and business rules.
I participated in developing Vorttex's first proprietary product: a corporate white-label mobile application in React Native for communication and engagement. I proposed and implemented feature flag architecture for client module activation and dynamic theme system via JSON, allowing complete visual customization per company without redeployment.
Beyond development, I worked on technical presentations, product demonstrations for clients, and supporting product leadership. It was my first deep contact with modern architectures, advanced TypeScript, SSR, and corporate-scale applications, gaining complete vision connecting technology, business, and user experience.
Independent educational initiative created during the pandemic to teach React focusing on solid fundamentals and technical reasoning, not just ready-made tutorials. The goal was to help people think like developers, bringing together study, practice, and market reality at a time when many people were seeking to migrate to technology.
In addition to classes and remote meetings, I produced content and articles explaining web ecosystem concepts, from platform basics to decisions behind React. I brought experienced professionals from companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Facebook for technical conversations with beginners, creating an environment of exchange and community where participants helped each other and evolved together.
More than just teaching, I followed up on individual questions, discussed code organization and best practices used in the market, bringing participants closer to professional reality and accelerating technical evolution with clarity and practical direction.
Work as frontend developer in startup focused on connecting companies with idle inventory to commercial partners interested in resale, reducing losses and waste. I joined an existing system with legacy React frontend based on Class Components and little sustainability, making maintenance and product evolution difficult.
I was responsible for understanding the architecture, stabilizing the system, and conducting significant refactoring to React with Hooks. I introduced Redux for global state management organization, reduced monolithic components by separating responsibilities, improved frontend-backend communication, and ensured more stable and predictable data flow.
The product became more sustainable and the team could add new features without breaking existing screens. I actively participated in frontend technical decisions even as an intern, working directly with the technical backend partner in continuous software evolution.
Beginning of my professional trajectory in innovation and technology environment. I went through different fronts: infrastructure and internal process organization, workflow automation, web development, and educational training, always building solutions with real constraints, short deadlines, and direct impact on incubator operations.
Highlight for HabitsID, a system that integrated hardware (Raspberry Pi and RFID reader) with software (React) for presence control and engagement in coworking, incubated companies, selection processes, and training. The project converted physical circulation into strategic data to support management and decision-making, with real-time metrics.
I also created form and email flow automations using Microsoft Flow and WordPress, centralizing and qualifying internal leads, reducing manual work in selection processes and courses. I acted as mentor in WebDev training, an internal educational program focused on web development teaching, supporting curriculum definition and teaching introductory HTML and JavaScript classes.
It was my practical foundation in technology, where I learned JavaScript from scratch, understood system architecture, REST APIs, and web fundamentals while creating real value for the organization.
Where I make decisions that impact performance, SEO, accessibility, conversion, and maintenance. It's not just interface, it's part of the product.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Vue, Next.js, frontend architecture, performance, accessibility, technical SEO, design systems
I go as far as needed for the product to work well as a whole. Integrations, API contracts, and business rules with clarity.
Node.js, REST APIs, GraphQL, system integrations
When the product requires mobile, I think about consistency, performance, and coherent experience. Without reinventing what already works on the web.
React Native, Flutter, cross-platform solutions
Technology changes. Judgment stays. I choose what solves with more clarity and less risk.
Over time, helping other people understand the context became a natural part of my way of working. When everyone understands the problem and the chosen path, the team moves faster and with more confidence.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
In practice, this appeared in different forms over time.

Constant exchange in a React-focused community showed how learning together accelerates evolution.
Collective React learning space
In the professional environment, I always sought to share decisions and context to help the team grow consistently.
Constant work in multidisciplinary teams
In the end, I'm still just a developer. But one who believes good products are born from people working well together. 💚
If your product needs to scale safely, maintain performance under pressure, and work when it really matters, the conversation makes sense.
